Here is my 1948-9 Ford F6 COE truck. I’m not sure on the exact year, probably 1948 or 1949, if anyone knows for sure, let me know. I rescued it from going to the scrap yard to be crushed, 8-30-2009. Even though I’m not a huge Ford fan, I just couldn’t bear to see this one get crushed. It’s not in the best of condition, but it would be good for parts or rat rod material. It does have a flat-head V8 engine, with a 4-speed manual transmission. Obviously, the flatbed needs a “little” work!
It just barely fit on my trailer, but fortunately this one was quite close to home. I aired up the tires after we got home, and they do hold air! That made unloading it much easier. Then we used the 1951 International truck to push it into its current resting place.
If anyone is interested, I’d be open to selling this one, so make me an offer if you’re interested. I sold this one, so it is no longer available, but enjoy the pictures!

I sold it not long after these pictures, and it’s now in a new home to get the attention and work it deserves.
