On this page, here are some of the motorcycles I’ve owned or ridden at one time.
My latest (July 2013) addition to my motorcycle fleet is a Chang Jiang 750 w/ sidecar.

Past Bikes:
1993 Kawasaki ZX750L Ninja
I did a considerable amount of body and paintwork on this bike when I originally got it as it had been in a light accident and boogered up the front facia, windshield, and side panels.
1980 Honda CB450 Nighthawk
I bought this bike back in college, 1999 or so, it was my first street legal motorcycle. It had some beat-up body panels, and the rear tail piece beyond repair, so I fabricated out of fiberglass a new tail piece, and painted the whole thing Barracuda Blue, with several layers of clear. After getting the Ninja, this bike didn’t get ridden much. I eventually sold it off in 2008 or so before it deteriorated from sitting.
1970’s or 80’s Honda 100
My brother and I had this bike as kids, riding it around the yard and in fields. It was a street bike with a dirtbike rear tire. It was pretty much a piece of junk, but most of the time it worked. My dad had traded one of his larger motorcycles for this one from a neighbor friend of his that their kid had wrecked and had been patched together. As a consequence, not everything worked properly, and it was a bit cobbled together. I’ll try to find a picture of it and scan and upload. When we first started riding it, we were told to only stay in 1st gear…. funny how that didn’t last too long. My shifting skills weren’t exactly subtle, I can remember revving it to redline before shifting, but mom and dad either didn’t notice or didn’t care.
Back then, safety wasn’t a big deal, and we never wore a helmet or gear, and never had an accident! Now I wear a helmet almost all the time, typically an armored jacket.
198? or 7? Honda 80 dirtbikeDad originally had this bike, and I can remember as a little kid trying it for the first time and popping a wheelie! For some reason we didn’t have for real long and it got traded for a 3-wheeled go-kart.
